**About Us**: We are an innovative and growing business focused on sustainable fish waste collection and production into organic liquid fertiliser. Our facility aims to create high-quality products while contributing to environmental sustainability.

We are seeking a hands-on, resourceful, and experienced Operations & Production Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and drive efficiency in our production processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Oversight**: Manage all aspects of the production process, ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
- **Operational Leadership**: Lead and train production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and safety.
- **Problem-Solving**: Address and resolve equipment issues, process bottlenecks, and other operational challenges through hands-on troubleshooting or by sourcing specialist assistance.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Ensure all machinery and equipment are maintained in optimal condition, conducting minor repairs as needed.
- **Logistics Management**: Oversee inventory, raw material sourcing and truck collection logistics, ensuring seamless workflow.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and contribute to strategic planning.

**Required Licences**:

- Valid Forklift License.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Truck License (preferred but not mandatory).

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in operations or production management, preferably in agriculture, farming, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of fertilizers, farming, or agricultural practices is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with machinery and equipment troubleshooting and repair.

**Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and think outside the box to drive innovative solutions.
- Effective communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in logistics management.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)
- HR Truck Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
