**About the Role**

We are currently seeking ambitious, eager, and reliable **Grounds and Maintenance Cleaners **for positions we have available from 6am-10am Monday - Friday, for a Commercial Cleaning contract in the Northern Suburbs. These positions are on a permanent ongoing basis where you will be working in a small team to complete daily groundskeeping and cleaning tasks. If you are enthusiastic about working outdoors and working with machinery, this is a fantastic fit for you

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Emptying and moving bins across the grounds
- Cleaning outdoor furniture and external signage of buildings
- Ensuring external walkways, carparks, pathways, and gardens beds are clear of rubbish and debris
- Basic machine operation including the use of both a backpack and handheld blower, Billy Goat machine and basic power tools
- Dusting and cobweb removal (internal and external)
- Responding to adhoc spills and cleaning requests
- Minor repairs and maintenance
- General cleaning tasks when required such as vacuuming / mopping floors, glass and touchpoint cleaning, cleaning and disinfecting of desks, hard surfaces and bathroom facilities
- Periodical cleaning which may include; Carpet cleaning, high pressure washing, floor polishing, tile scrubbing and general machine operation.

**About you**

Essential requirements:

- Previous Commercial Cleaning experience
- Demonstrated similar experience in an outdoor/ groundskeeping role
- Current Drivers Licence
- Own reliable transport to get to and from work
- Able to pass and willing to obtain both a DCSI (within 3 years) & National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- High customer service skills with a friendly demeanour
- High standard of work, cleanliness and attention to detail
- Be able to follow directions, and work at a fast pace keeping to time limits and required expectations.
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical
- Able to work autonomously and use initiative
- Have a smartphone to clock in and out of shifts
- Availability across Monday to Friday every morning
