Cleaner

Do you love cleaning? Do you love gardening? Do you love providing exceptional customer service? This role will offer you the opportunity to use your exceptional cleaning and gardening skills and combine those with your love for animals._

A typical day at GVH will see you performing a variety of cleaning and gardening tasks, such as, _however not limited to_:

- Completing basic cleaning in and around the Hospital building, including some garden maintenance such as weeding and mowing the lawns. Tools are provided.
- Mopping, sweeping, vacuuming floors, cleaning windows, cleaning restrooms and common areas leaving them shining.
- Spot cleaning areas as you go about your day.
- Emptying trash.
- Setting up, stock, and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.

This is a job shared arrangement and you can expect to work 5 days a week, up to a minimum of 20 hours per week. This is a permanent part-time position.

To be considered for this role, your availability **_must_** be able to meet these two shift times and be flexible.

**Monday to Friday**:6.30am to 10.30am (open shift available)

**_ MUST_**_ also have availability to work the _**_3.00pm to 7.00pm shift _**_to cover annual leave or sick leave, or if business needs change._
- Previous cleaning and gardening experience_ (desirable)_
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Self-motivated, and be able to work under limited supervision
- Basic computer skills
- Experience in using cleaning equipment
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, products, proper storage and disposal methods used in a Vet Hospital or the ability to learn.
- Willingness to make a long-term commitment to the role.
