**Nephrologist - Genomics**

The Department of Nephrology at RMH has one of the largest Dialysis and Kidney Transplant programs in Australia. The department is strongly committed to improvement through research and innovation.
- The Nephrologist Genomics role is an opportunity to develop a sub-specialist interest and contribute to research in a new mainstream area of genomics. This role is an 18-month fixed term role, based at the RMH City Campus, working 4 hours a fortnight.
- Your new role:

- Participate in the Melbourne Genomics Nephrology Clinical Change Project
- Review patients in a mainstream multi-disciplinary genetics clinic
- Collaborate with Genetic Medicine and promote appropriate mainstreaming of genomic testing.
- Assist to develop a new approach to the delivery of renal genomics

About you:

- MBBS or equivalent
- FRACP in Nephrology
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Desirable to have an interest or previous experience in renal genetics
