**Mental Health Support Worker**

**Location**: Frankston, VIC + Surrounding Suburbs

**Employment Type**: Casual / Contract | **Start**:Immediate

**Award**: SCHADS Level 3 & 4 | **Pay**: Based on SCHADS Award

**The Role**

Support NDIS participants with mental health and psychosocial needs. Work hands-on to promote independence, community engagement, and overall wellbeing.

**Key Duties**
- 1:1 psychosocial and emotional support
- Support with daily tasks & medication prompts
- Assist with community access and social inclusion
- Respond to challenging behaviours calmly
- Accurate shift notes & incident reporting
- Collaborate with families & clinicians
- Maintain dignity, safety, and NDIS compliance

**You Bring**
- Empathy, resilience & strong communication
- Shift flexibility (incl. weekends & evenings)
- Calm under pressure; trauma-informed mindset
- Teamwork, accountability, and professionalism

**Requirements**:

- Cert IV+ in Mental Health, Disability, or Community Services
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
- WWCC (Employee), First Aid & CPR
- Driver’s license + insured vehicle
- 6+ months of mental health support experience

**Bonus Points For**
- Lived experience or peer work
- Crisis or dual diagnosis experience
- Familiarity with NDIS documentation & compliance
