Our new project is located in the Bowen Basin near Emerald.

Responsibilities of this role
- Machine maintenance on a fleet of mining equipment, including component replacement, component overhaul, general repairs, fault diagnostics, PM servicing, daily refueling and inspections
- Execute planned repairs within time and cost requirements
- Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
- Be committed to procedure based preventative maintenance
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
- Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely
Requirements for this role include
- Trade qualified as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent
- Experience on heavy mining equipment
- Demonstrated success in a similar role will be an advantage
- Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or we can assist you to obtain)
- Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
- A current Queensland driver licence
