JKAH is seeking an experienced **Housekeeping Supervisor **for a property in the heart of the Melbourne CBD.

**Key Requirements of the role**:

- Setting up key tasks for yourself and the team
- Team briefings to conquer the challenges ahead
- Participate in and actively support the on-going training of staff
- Work with the hotel leadership team on short and long-term quality metrics
- Actively participate in the daily briefing and department meetings
- Delivery of rooms to the hotel on time for guest arrival
- Handle guest concerns promptly, communicating with others where necessary
- Maintain working relationships with the clients and other relevant parties
- Effective hand over to the team
- Timesheet compliance
- Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed
- Administration relating to Health and Safety, billing and rosters
- Ensure all Team members comply with Workplace Health and Safety Policies and Standards
- Ensure that all Team Members follow set policies and procedures, ensuring rooms are completed in a timely manner
- Reporting to the National Executive Housekeeper
- Complete all additional tasks and projects as assigned
- End your day knowing that tomorrow will bring a whole new set of adventures to be had
- Minimum 1 - 2 years experience in the qualified position in a 4 or 5 Star hotel
- Leadership to drive team motivation and manage performance
- Exceptional verbal communication skills
- Polished presentation, high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
- Passion for providing fantastic guest experiences
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
- High motivation and possess a positive attitude
- Great customer relations and friendly nature
- Organisational skills with excellent time management
- Physical fitness to work in a fast-paced and oftentimes laborious environment
- A strong desire to build and sustain relationships
- An understanding of annualised budgets
- Determination to provide a safe workplace and efficient housekeeping procedures
- A can do, problem-solving attitude and is not afraid of getting their hands dirty to deliver outstanding results

Applicants must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays, and have entitlements to work in Australia

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Housekeeping: 2 years (required)
- Housekeeping management: 2 years (required)

- Australia (required)
