We’re seeking for a Data Governance Analyst for a contract 6 months with potential extension in next year
- someone who responsible for Developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to establish data standards and ensure adherence to data policies Conducting data quality assessments and implementing data quality improvements. Role is Hybrid/Remote for interstate consultant.
**Start date: ASAP**
**Key Deliverables**:
- Design, develop and implement data collection, transformation, and data integration solution to create, coordinate and deploy data and analytics solutions
- Collaborate with solution design and business requirements teams to identify data requirements and influence project artefacts
- Advise on data management practices, approaches and frameworks;
- Demonstrate technical expertise in modern AI, analytics, big data and associated technologies, cloud platforms, data quality, governance and architecture
**Your day at NTT**
- Support delivery of client’s enterprise data catalogue, Collibra, including supporting the implementation of several use cases.
- Create and implement best practices in data governance.
- Define and implement an enterprise business glossary, data catalogue, data dictionary, and data governance best practices.
- Establish and maintain data standards and data ownership. Actively collaborate with data owners and data stewards to complete various data projects and with compliance team to develop policy and processes for handling sensitive data.
- Support execution of an enterprise-wide data governance strategy by working with business and technology partners to ensure alignment and dedication to objectives.
- Facilitate cross-functional data domain groups to drive data governance activities.
- Communicate the importance of managing data as an asset in all aspects of the role.
**What would make you a good fit for this role?**
- 5+ years of experience working in master data management, metadata management, data lineage, data cataloguing, compliance, and data security.
- Experience with Collibra Data Governance tool on AWS (Amazon Web Services) cloud platform (or other cloud platform) is highly desirable.
- Experience with data management technologies such as Databricks, SQL Server, Oracle is desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and the definition of data requirements to meet complex business needs.
- Deep understanding of data related regulatory requirements and knowledge of emerging trends and issues.
- Experience working with large data repositories, and/or relational databases.
- Familiarity with frameworks and best practices in data quality management.
- Strong project management/business analysis knowledge and familiarity with Agile Methodology.
- Knowledge of process improvement techniques, risk identification and mitigation.
- Strong prioritisation, organisation, time management and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to build productive and positive relationships.
- Skilled at developing presentations with business/technical details for key stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in both technology and business environments.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable.
