**The Successfull applicant will have responsibility for**:
Working collaboratively with all members of the Leadership and Management Team to enact the school philosophy and Strategic Plan
Actively participating in learning, research and ongoing professional development that enable you to improve both as a leader and a classroom teacher
Setting and maintaining high standards for student performance by leading your faculty to uphold the spirit of State High with a specific focus on improving learning outcomes and fostering a growth mindset
Leading calibration and moderation practices that build strong alignment between curriculum, pedagogy and assessment
Maintaining and developing productive and positive partnerships with parents, all staff, other government agencies and community groups to maximise each student's performance and potential
Leading the development of quality differentiated learning practices aligned to our school vision, values and pedagogical framework
Promoting a culture of creativity and critical reflection with open, excited, motivated and dynamic conversations
Setting and maintaining a highly supportive and challenging culture that encourages high standards of staff and student performance
Maintaining a high visibility and presence within the school community
Embedding socially just and inclusive practices in daily school life.

Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration, as a teacher in Queensland.
