Haematology Clinical Trials Assistant

In this 12 month fixed-term, full-time role, based in East Melbourne, you will be responsible for supporting the coordination and management of all laboratory processing for both investigator and industry sponsored clinical trials. You will be part of the Epworth’s Haematology Clinical Trails Unit and report to the Haematology Clinical Trials Manager.
**You will make an impact by**:
- Providing support for both industry sponsored and investigator-initiated research activities, relating to Haematology.
- Providing assistance with laboratory processing including the collection, receipt and store of all biological specimens.
- Supporting the development of quality of standard operating procedures (SOP’s), site-specific protocols and processes for the unit
- Supporting all clinical research data entry requirements
- Assisting with general administrative work that pertains to Haematology trials and Molecular Oncology Cancer Immunology work
**To be successful in this role**
A natural communicator, you have a caring, supportive and empathetic approach. Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team, you are able to build effective working relationships with your colleagues, key stakeholders and sponsors.
**_ You will have:_**
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a clinical setting within a hospital or pharmaceuticals setting
- Previous experience working with tissue/blood sample collections, processing and storage
- Excellent time management skills, are able to manage multiple priorities and have a keen eye for detail.
