Freight Handler

Chandler Macleod is now seeking fit and energetic dockhands and forklift drivers to join an industry leading Freight Transport provider in Dandenong South & Hallam sites. These roles involve pallet breakdown, labelling and sorting of parcel freight and cartons. A strong knowledge of Victorian suburbs and locations is highly advantageous. These are ongoing casual positions, which will see you working morning shifts Monday to Friday.

This role would be ideal for anyone looking for minimum of 4 hours to 7 hours per day work (depending on freight). This opportunity would be an excellent consideration for a second income or looking for a full week's work with part-time hours.

The pay rate for the role is from $34 per hour and the shifts are usually 4 hour shifts depending on the freight.

You will be put on an on-going weekly roster depending on your availability. Minimum availability must be at least
**3 business days.**
- Morning shift - starting from 5am and 6am
- Afternoon shift starting from 3pm and onwards

You will need to be willing to undergo Australian Federal Police and Denied party check and pass a Full Medical examination including Drug & Alcohol assessment and have reliable transport and drivers licence.

A high level of physical fitness and the ability perform manual handling up to 25kg is required. In return you will be offered great pay rates, ongoing work whilst working in a safe clean working environment.
