Mowing Operator

We are Victoria’s longest standing Commercial Grounds Maintenance, Landscape Construction and Turf Management specialists, servicing a diverse range of clients for over 33 years.
**Experience in a similar role, with a background in grounds maintenance and gardening is essential, as your responsibilities will include**:
- Using a range of horticultural equipment including a blower, hedger, whipper snipper, push mower and ride on mowers;
- Gardening, mowing, watering, treading in, machine operation, raking and general horticultural and facility maintenance related tasks;
- Mowing and edging lawns to specifications;
- Pruning, weeding, leaf, dead plants and rubbish removal;
- Mixing, decanting and spraying chemicals including pesticides, herbicides and fuel;
- Safely operating a range of horticultural equipment including: push mower, ride on mower, a blower, hedger, whipper snipper, etc.
- Maintaining the health and vigour of all trees with the estate - pruning, watering, nutrition, mulch depth etc.
- Identification and treatment of weeds, pests and diseases;
- Planting, feeding and fertilisation of plants.
- Background in lawn and gardening maintenance;
- A manual drivers licence is preferred;
- Experience with ride-on mowers;
- Relevant qualification is an advantage;
- Experience with large machinery operation i.e. tractors, boom sprayers etc. is well regarded.
