**Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist to join our team at Canterbury Hospital**

We are looking for a Staff Specialist in General Paediatrics The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Paediatrics (including neonates), and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Paediatric Department and Hospital as required.

The Staff Specialist in Paediatrics will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.

The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) with recognised qualifications in General Paediatrics and/or other equivalent specialist recognition as provided for in the NSW Staff Specialists (State) Award. Neonatal experience at a senior level is essential.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.

To be employed by NSW Health, you are required to provide evidence of current immunity status that complies with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy. Successful applicants are required to abide by the Code of Conduct.
