**The Client**
Our client is a leading FMCG business with over 50 years’ experience supplying Australian households with quality products & exceptional service. They have built a brand to envy and a culture that maintains, develops, and grows their staff. They have expanded again throughout the last few years, with some exciting new products & tapping into new markets. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking to add an Inventory Planner to the team.

**The Role**
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this role manages the inventory planning, replenishment, control of all product related goods whilst supporting the warehouse and production teams. Your key responsibilities as the Inventory Planner include:

- Planning and forecasting of replenishment stock
- Inventory control (cycle counting, stock adjustments, inventory accuracy, stock transfers, inbound and outbound stock)
- Ensure all warehouses are optimally stocked and obsolescence well managed
- Control and maintain production scheduling, ensuring optimisation of material and resources
- Maintenance of Product Master Data
- Maintain relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers (local and overseas), freight forwarders and transportation companies
- Keep track of stock quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
- Operational & process improvements

**Preferred Experience**
You will have 3+ years experience in a similar role within the FMCG/retail/manufacturing/consumer goods space. You will also ideally bring:

- Exposure to a large SKU portfolio
- Experience with manufacturing/operations systems and processes
- Understanding inventory management business systems and MRP processes
- SAP experience (desirable)
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proactive approach and positive attitude
- Customer focused and collaborative
