Cafe Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated manager for our Cedarwood café

With our teams passionate and enthusiastic personalities, Cedarwood has grown with the community, becoming the North Shores go-to breakfast and brunch location since 2018. Our staff pride themselves in the knowledge of having only the best produce and customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Treat the company as your own and take responsibility for its success
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and running of this busy venue
- You will be responsible for placing orders, adhering to high standards of food safety, providing exceptional customer service, and processing money
- Management of the team including rostering, shift changes and team meetings. General office administration duties such as cash handling and paperwork as well as ordering stock from various suppliers
- Working on the register and making coffee when required
- Establish and develop relationships with regulars and new customers
- Help the company in achieving desired targets and results

**Successful Applicants Will**
- Have previous experience in the hospitality industry
- Have previous barista experience and knowledge A MUST
- Have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Have a strong leadership personality with willingness to support the team
- Have a passion for the hospitality industry with knowledge of restaurant operations
- Have conflict resolution skills and interpersonal skills

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a leadership role in the hospitality industry
- Valid RSA
- Previous barista experience A MUST
- Be flexible with hours and have the ability to work weekends

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (required)
- Management: 1 year (required)
