Forrestfield, Australia Sands Fridge Lines Pty Ltd Full time

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

The role is dayshift working between 40-50 hours per week delivering refrigerated meat (both hanging carcasses and carton stock) to butcher shops around the Perth metro area, as well as assisting in cleaning the truck at the end of the day to ensure a respectable, clean and hygienic truck is maintained at all times. This is a physical role suited for someone seeking an active lifestyle.

This is an excellent opportunity where you will be home every night with your family and be part of a progressive family-owned company that will support your driver progression in the logistics Industry. Full training will be provided.

**THE PERSON**
- Refrigerated meat experience is not essential but a willingness to work with meat is.
- Must be physically fit and able to load & unload meat carcasses from truck.
- Must be reliable and energetic with an excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
- Enjoys interacting with customers on a daily basis.
- Commitment to Safety practices and procedures

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- HR delivery experience preferred
- High risk forklift ticket desirable
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries desirable
- Experience with temperature-controlled goods highly regarded, not essential - willing to train
- Ability to work early mornings
- Strong customer service focus
- Clear, concise and fluent communication and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete all paperwork requirements
- Fitness for duty to load / unload trucks by hand
- Fitness to drive commercial vehicles
