**Your new role**:
The **Engagement Worker** is a dynamic role where you will be providing a variety of social engagement support to clients visiting the Drop in at the Ozanam Learning Centre. You will play a key role in facilitating activities and services that promote exceptional impact, service and engagement that contribute to the broader outcomes of those experiencing disadvantage. You will be joining a highly supportive, friendly & values-driven team environment and culture, that offers Learning and Development programs to **enhance and grow your career** across a range of teams and services**.**

**Your responsibilities**:

- Support and contribute to social engagement activities that reflect consumer voice and are evidence informed practice.
- Providing general support at the OLC drop in centre, including social engagement activities (i.e facilitating board games, craft activities and book groups)
- Provide and model excellent customer service for general enquiries, membership or volunteering enquiries, donor enquires, and requests for support or assistance including intake assessment and external referral.
- Support people experiencing disadvantage to engage and participate in programs and activities that meet service outcomes
- Ensure accurate data capturing and reporting that contribute to continuous improvement

**To be successful, you will need**:

- Relevant qualification/s and / or demonstrated experience in community services and / or other relevant area.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and experiences, including cultural sensitivity and cross-culture communication
- Excellent organisational & time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple and competing work tasks and deliver to agreed deadlines.
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing work environments and requirements.
