Does the idea of making cheese for Bruny Island Cheese Co give you a thrill? Well, you’re in luck, because we are looking for cheese makers to assist our Head Cheesemaker. It’s not all glitz and glamour, in fact, at times it’s just honest, hard, wet work but the payoff is you will be part of a great business, making some of the best cheese in Australia.

Ideally you have some experience working with food, or in a factory environment, or even better, working with cheese. We are looking for hard-working individuals willing to dedicate their time and effort to the high standards we are known for. You will knock us over with your passion and impress us with your enthusiasm.

In return, we promise to teach you everything you need to know to make and mature awesome cheese. We are a small team but we work hard and have fun. There is always plenty going on here and sometimes it might feel a bit crazy, so you’ll need to be pretty chilled too.
