Swimming Instructor

Our swim school is located in Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre, squad trainings are at Bialik College and Boroondara Sports Complex.

Teaching swimming for children of age 4+ from the basics (streamline, breathing) focusing on teaching the 4 strokes, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. All teaching requires the instructor in the water, requires hands on teaching, with physical stroke/technique manipulation to assist teaching.

Our classes go from Beginner (freestyle to backstroke), Intermediate (breaststroke), Advanced (butterfly + endurance) and squads who aims for competitions.

Beginner and Intermediate classes run for an hour, advanced level goes for 1.5 hours and squad levels goes for 1.5 hours or 2 hours.

A class of Beginner level holds up to 8 students, Intermediate level up to 10, Advanced level up to 10 in Ashburton, and more in Bialik College.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 - 21 per week

Schedule:

- Every weekend
- Fixed shift
- Public holidays
