**About the business** TP Elite Transport and Installation provides commercial transport and install solutions to businesses within Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Operating for over 12 years, we have experienced recent growth and are looking for someone to join our team based in Brisbane. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and "Trouble Free Transport". **About the role** As the main driver of a small delivery truck, you will will be responsible for the pick-up, delivery, installation and placement of furniture for commercial office fit outs. You will be required to load and unload the truck, build and place furniture as per install instructions and floor plans. Each day you will be provided a daily schedule of delivery and installation jobs. Your role will be responsible for managing the schedule, liaising with clients to confirm job details and site managers to arrange access. **Skills and experience** Our newest team member will require: - Strong practical problem-solving skills with the ability to focus on solutions. - The ability to be flexible and adapt to unexpected situations. - The ability to manage and direct other team members and labour hire staff. - High levels of productivity and attention to detail. - Experience in the safe use of power tools (all tools required will be supplied). - Physical fitness and strength as some heavy lifting is involved. - The ability to read and follow floor plans and installation instructions. - A happy and friendly personality to work in a team environment. - A Construction Industry Blue/White Card. - A drivers licence with a clean driving history. - Experience in a similar role such as joinery, carpentry, handyman, construction labourer or removalist is desirable. We offer an attractive rate, with the opportunity to increase as your skills progress. This is a casual position with 25-45 hrs per week, possibility of full time role. Daily start time is 6.30am from Geebung and you will require your own transport to and from work. The requirements of this role are physically demanding and you will need to be physically fit with the capability to complete tasks that require regular lifting, standing and walking. You will be well mannered, good humoured and be able to work in a strictly non-smoking environment. On occasions, a police check may need to be completed to gain access for certain jobs so any concerns should be mentioned before accepting the position.
