**About Endeavour Foundation Recycling Solutions**
- Endeavour Foundation currently operates 26 Transfer Stations and Resource Recovery Centres, 3 accredited e-waste re
- Our recycling solutions often engage local councils as our key clients. In 2014-15, our recycling operations processed 50,000 tonnes of cardboard, paper, e-waste, têxtiles, plastic, glass, metals, commons and general household goods - assisting councils, business and households divert waste from landfill.

**A little bit about the role...**
Endeavour Foundation is a member of **Charitable Recycling Australia (CRA)** which promotes the impact of the charitable reuse, recycling and retail sector. As a **Recycling Attendant**, you will play an integral role in the coordination of recyclable goods to ensure objects are recycled appropriately, you will also:
- Inspect the load of each recycling truck entering the waste facility to ascertain the contents of each load and direct drivers to the appropriate recycling areas
- Assist customers to unload contents and advise the most appropriate methods of disposing of contents by providing instructions for the separation of specified materials to ensure safety requirements are met
- Drive our Endeavour Foundation recycling trucks when fellow staff members are on annual leave
- Maintain a high level of tidiness and presentation of premises to ensure Endeavour and the waste facility’s image is of the highest standard
- Comply with Endeavour’s Work Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure safety in and out of the workplace is upheld
**What will you bring to the role?**
- Superb customer service, great communication, and excellent time management skills
- Flexibility to work during the week and every second weekend.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and working on your feet all day
- You can work with mínimal supervision, but with high levels of respect for others
- Working predominately in the recycle market at Reedy Creek and working outside on Recycle Street
- A forklift license is admirable but not essential
- A current Driver's License and own transport due to limited public transport at some sites

Please note, before commencing with Endeavour Foundation, you will be required to undertake a **“Fit2Work” National Criminal History Check, **hold or be willing to obtain a **Working with Children Check (Blue Card) **and a** NDIS Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card.**
Additionally, in line with the direction from State Government, all authorised workers defined under the Queensland Public Health Order are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Endeavour Foundation requires all new employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
