**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter on a full-time basis to complement our team, based Located in Coolum Beach / Sunshine Coast for the purpose of assembling of new equipment as well as rebuilding cranes.

We are looking for a positive and flexible individual that is willing to learn on the job and has a strong work ethic. You need to have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.

On the job guidance and training will be made available to ensure that the successful applicants can transition into their new role effectively.

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Assembling of new mobile cranes to sales specifications.
- All fitting works associated with Major Inspections IE: Rebuilds.
- All fitting works associated with the disassembly of Cranes.
- Assessment of componentry.
- Support with specific duties related to component repairs required.
- Rebuilding of components.
- All fitting work associated with Reassembly of cranes.
- Duties related to final Commissioning processes.

**SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS**
- Mechanical trade qualifications
- High attention to detail.
- Experience within the heavy vehicle industry.
- General knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Good health and Safety Practices.
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Good time management, communication and reporting skills
- Must have own Tools.
- Current forklift licence.

**Salary**: $30.85 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 4 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
