We are currently seeking an Adviser to join our Employee Services team in our National office located in Campbell. This role assists our Employee Services team with a variety of tasks including the preparation of employment related documentation, data entry for Payroll Services, a range of recruitment related functions, and other general payroll and employee services duties as required.

**Key responsibilities for this role include**:

- Provide advice and assistance to managers and employees in relation to various staff issues
- Produce and issue timely and accurate employment related documentation
- Maintain accurate information in the HRIS (Aurion) database and develop and produce reports as required;
- Provide general administrative assistance including distributing mail, filing, binding and photocopying;
- Notify managers of probationary period review dates
- Assist with the verification of the payroll;
- Assist in conducting Exit Interviews with departing employees
- Assist when required, to provide a thorough and relevant induction process for new HIA staff;
- Assist with the coordination of HIA’s Annual People Plan process (performance development system);
- Assist with the maintenance of records and conducting of checks relating to HIA staff VEVO and WWVP requirements, and other related probity checks;
- Where relevant provide recommendations of business improvement activities and assist with implementation; and
- Work closely with the Senior Employee Services Adviser, and General Manager
- Employee Services on various project initiatives for the organisation.

**The ideal applicant will have**:

- Human Resources related experience
- **experience in organisational development, workplace health and safety and/or payroll is ideal;**:

- MS Office skills;
- Well-developed written communication skills;
- Excellent organisational and time management skills;
- High attention to detail;
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality;
- A strong customer service focus is essential;
- Ability to develop relationships and build trust with employees;
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate patience, respect and empathy;
- Ability to manage time commitments and remain composed under pressure; and
