Come and join the Bows for Strings team We currently have two positions available to join our workshop team of luthiers.

We are looking for an experienced Luthier and an Apprentice Luthier, passionate about music to join our team at our Glen Waverley workshop 4-5 days a week.

**Job responsibilities (apprentice will be taught)**:
Tasks of the role include (but are not limited to):

- Setting up and repairing instruments to a high standard
- Conducting repair work as guided by the Head Luthier
- Performing basic instrument maintenance including string changes and instrument cleaning
- Tool maintenance and equipment maintenance
- Passionate about music
- Have strong communication skills and be able to communicate clearly with staff
- Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise what needs to be done
- Know how to safely handle machinery and tools
- Able to work well in a team environment
