**About The Role**:
Our full time WH&S Advisor will have a crucial role to play within our business. Responsible for coaching, promoting, developing and influencing our people’s attitudes and beliefs, you will foster a culture that has safety front of mind every time. Within this role, you will be required to travel, including side visits and our branches based in Saint Marys, Campbelltown and Newcastle.

This hands on, in field role (70% of time) will have you partnering with your stakeholders to increase understanding and awareness of workplace health and safety outcomes and the link to individual’s behaviours, actions and effect.

In addition to being a culture carrier and influencer, you will also be responsible for:

- Providing technical support to the WHS and local team to ensure adoption of safety systems, process and compliance with procedures and legislative and code requirements; and
- Develop, implement and roll-out training to proactively address gaps within our safety knowledge and or behaviours; and
- Develop, implement and roll-out effective communications to proactively address safety updates, changes, knowledge and behaviour gaps; and
- Support the managers with conducting incident and accident investigations, safety inspections, reporting.
- Plus, importantly all of the usual data analysis, compliance paperwork, reporting and KPI’s which are typical for this role (20% of time).

**To be successful in this key role we are looking for**:

- Tertiary qualification in WHS/Safety Management
- Previous experience in WHS roles in the construction/ manufacturing/ industrial industry
- Exceptional ability to communicate, influence and foster relationships
- A coaching/mentoring approach to safety to influence individuals attitudes, behaviours and outcomes vs directive and compliance based approach
