**About the role**

This is your opportunity to get your foot in the door of one of Australia's largest and most diverse not-for-profit organisations. You will undertake a combination of study and paid work, to achieve your Certificate III in Individual Support or Hospitality. There will also be the opportunity to receive ongoing employment at the conclusion of the program.

As a **Personal Care Worker Trainee **your days will be varied. You will assist residents with their mobility to and from activities (including meals), and will support them to participate in activities. As you carry out these tasks, you will be passionate about ensuring the personal care you provide is high quality and emits empathy, warmth and unconditional love.

As a **Cook Trainee** you will assist in preparing high quality, nutritious meals for our residents with different care needs and special dietary requirements, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting in creating varying menus to keep our residents excited. Sharing your cooking experience and compassionate and patient nature, you will actively contribute to establishing high standards of customer service to our residents. It's a truly rewarding job and you have the opportunity to make meal time the highlight of the day for our residents.

**About you**

You have a compassionate nature and love being around and caring for seniors. You will be supported in your learning on-the-job by experienced team members, and assisted to obtain a formal qualification in Individual Support or Cooking.
