Removalist Offsider

ACME CARRIERS is seeking a Removalist Offsider to join their busy team, based at their Wangara depot. To start immediately, with hours ranging from 25 -35 hours per week (weekdays only).

Established for over 20 years, we are a small family run business that specialises in the relocation (and storage) of pianos, pool tables and antiquities throughout the metro area.

We are seeking an individual who is:

- Physically fit and strong
- Well presented and well spoken
- Positive attitude, who can easily adapt to a busy and changing work schedule
- Able to easily follow written and verbal instructions
- Be polite, friendly, patient & responsive with customers
- Must be punctual, reliable, flexible and responsible
- Must have current C class drivers licence
- Must have permanent rights to work in Australia
- Forklift licence and some PC skills would be advantageous

You will be responsible for:

- Working as a team to complete moves
- Checking equipment
- Planning ahead for each job and its relevant requirements
- Completing moves in an efficient and safe manner
- Adhering to business policies and standards
- Assisting in the storage warehouse, including wrapping, crating, stacking and labelling.
