Fleet Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Controller to join us on our friendly, fast paced, and dynamic Rail PUD Team based in Tennyson, Queensland to run our localised Interstate Fleet.

As the Fleet Controller, you will resource allocations to ensure delivery of a Safe, reliable, and sustainable service to our customers. You will oversee the daily deliveries, optimise fleet utilisation while ensuring our customers’ and our customers’ customers service level (DIFOT) requirements are met.

As the Fleet Controller, you will:
- Oversee the allocation of pick-ups & deliveries daily, ensuring customers are kept updated with times- Preparation and analysis of internal and external contractors run sheets and delivery advice for the purpose of performance management- Participate in and contribute to operational toolbox meetings and OHS meetings- Active management of critical incidents impacting performance and attainment of key divisional KPI’s including but not limited to DIFOT- Professional communication to key stakeholders including both written and verbal means- Ensure safety and compliance procedures are adhered to
- Qualifications
- To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working successfully in a similar capacity-
- Effective communication skills in both verbal & written-
- A working knowledge of various computer systems-
- Comprehensive understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation inclusive of fatigue management-
- A 'team first' work ethic & professional attitude-
- Strong problem solving and forward planning abilities-
