**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
We are currently seeking a savvy Payroll Clerk to join our finance department at Ampcontrol. This position will be based in our head office at Tomago.

This role necessitates a high standard of personal demeanour, attention to detail, exceptional time management including professional communication standards and appearance.

Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:

- Timely payment of correct wages to company employees and other company payment reconciliations
- Working with a close-knit team on implementing process improvements, simplifications and automation relating to the payroll team
- Accurate entry and amendment of employee records into SyteLine (ERP System) and Attaché, including updating of salary rates and maintaining leave balances
- Strong focus on Customer Service
- Administrative duties such as; following up enquiries from managers and employees, Month-End / Year-End reconciliations and data entry/filing as required

**ABOUT YOU**:
On a day to day basis, you will be dealing with people and must have the capacity to demonstrate tolerance, patience and understand the importance of accuracy.
- Previous payroll processing experience (desirable) (demonstrated understanding of payroll procedures and related documentation)
- Experience with payroll processing software (desirable), e.g. Attaché
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Forward thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
- Comfortable with process improvement
- High level of administrative and organisational skills
