**JUNIOR PHARMACY ASSISTANT**

Amcal Pharmacy Kings Cross have an exciting career opportunity for a casual Junior Pharmacy assistant

**This position is "Junior Pharmacy Assistant" role for a High School student **(14 -17yrs old) looking for their first job in a pharmacy health care setting.

You will receive on the job training and ongoing support to develop your industry knowledge and skill set.

The position will include 2 shifts each week. You must be available for any shift Monday to Friday between the hours of 4pm - 7pm with the ability to work weekends any time between 8am-7pm when required.

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in healthcare services, who is enthusiastic, committed and motivated, with a passion for excellent customer service.

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**

**Must have or be willing to obtain**: The Pharmacy Guild of Australia SIRCIND002 - Support the Supply of Pharmacy Medicines and Pharmacist Only Medicines Statement of Attainment.

**Must have or be willing to obtain**: First Aid & C.P.R Certification

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Customer service
- Cashier processing
- Visual merchandising
- Store presentation & Cleaning
- Support and assist the pharmacist when required
- Assist in daily stock replenishment
- Merchandising

**Required Skills**:

- Good communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Be able to work both independently and within a team
- Strong organisational skills
- Eye for detail and accuracy
- Be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multi-tasking ability
