We are primed and ready to become the ultimate destination for entertainment, leisure and relaxation.
We are seeking to recruit a Corporate Compliance Officer to assist our Executive Leadership Team in ensuring their areas of the business maintain their compliance obligations. In this newly created position, the successful applicant will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, auditing, and implementing compliance framework. Partnering with the People & Culture team will be crucial in the ongoing education of employees in this space.
It is envisaged that the Corporate Compliance Officer will be hands on, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability develop and write programs, policy & procedures that can be applied across all levels of the business.
You will be initially responsible for areas such as:
- Work Health & Safety
- Contractor Management
- Club specific compliance pertaining to Liquor and Gaming
- Monitoring of any potential business risks/gaps and reporting
As this is a newly created position you will have the opportunity to make this role your own. This is an exciting time to take on this role as we are reviewing the Club’s risk appetite, existing framework and risk management system. If successful you will be responsible for driving and managing this project.

Being flexible, collaborative, helpful and down-to-earth while still being professional will ensure you kick goals when you work with us. This is an opportunity that will see you having to be very diverse, as one day can be very different to the next. We are in the people industry, so we are requiring someone that is helpful and can relate and work with a variety of people.
The successful applicant must have prior experience in a similar position with a strong foundation in risk-based decision-making practices. Some of the key competencies you must possess are:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide well-considered recommendations.
- Superior writing skills with attention to detail and clarity.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases or tasks within required timelines.
