**The Role**
As the Survey and Quote Officer, you will play a key role in the successful completion and ongoing management of tasks and packages of work conducted by our prime contractor under the Explosive Ordnance Services Contract. The Explosive Ordnance Service Contract is a performance based service delivery contract responsible for the storage, distribution and maintenance of explosive ordnance is support of activities undertaken by the Australian Defence Force (ADF).

Duties include but may not be limited to:

- Review request for services and subsequent quotations for accuracy and compliance with performance measures, instruction, policies and contracted terms and conditions.
- Monitor and prepare reports related to the progress and completion of activities and tasks undertaken.
- Engage and sustain relationships with team members, stakeholders and actively participate in meetings.
- Manage and update systems used to capture progress and completion of tasks and activities including record keeping and financial information.

**About our Team**
The Directorate of Logistics - Explosive Ordnance comprises of four functional areas in support of the ADF EO enterprise; covering storage and distribution, contract management, EO Licensing, Facilities planning and Delivery; and Logistics Capability planning.

Explosive Services Contract consists of a small team located at Defence Establishment Orchard Hills in Western Sydney. In this role, the Survey & Quote Officer will support and report to the Contract Manager.
- Proven ability to analyse and interrogate reports, financial data and performance results.
- Experience with delivery of Services through a contract arrangement.
- Ability to investigate information from a broad range of sources and determine its accuracy and compliance with policies, procedures and instructions.
- The ability to interpret and provide guidance and advice across a range of regulations, procedures, policies and contract terms to support ADF goals and outcomes.
- Well-developed ability to generate results through effective working relationships, requiring cooperation from multiple stakeholders.
