Manage direct banking and proprietary lending, and utilise your Broker connections in retaining and growing a portfolio of existing small business customers in conjunction with acquiring new business.

**In this Small Business Banker role, you will**:

- Build professional relationships with Business Partners
- Managing direct banking/proprietary lending and product requests for small business customers
- Perform credit analysis and approve lending requests within your authority
- Provide holistic business solutions to your portfolio of clients and those newly introduced
- Manage customer portfolio risk and compliance
- Work as part of a local banking team supporting local business customers
- Autonomously manage your operating rhythm to optimise effectiveness

**What you’ll bring**:

- A genuine passion for customer service
- Demonstrated experience in a lending role
- Experience in managing customer relationships, and the credit process
- A strong financial/business acumen
- Problem solving, time management, critical thinking and negotiation skills
