**About the Radiology department**

Austin Health has three campuses, the Austin Campus, the Repatriation Campus and the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre. Radiology services are provided by the Department of Radiology for both the Austin and Repat sites. Integrated RIS-PACS was installed in 2005

The main Department of Radiology is located on Levels 1 and 2 of the Lance Townsend Building, Austin Hospital. The Department comprises 18 diagnostic Staff Radiologists, 11 Interventional Radiologists including 4 neurointerventional radiologists, 5 Visiting Radiologists and 25 Radiology Registrars/Fellows.

**About the role**

The Abdominal Radiology Fellowship typically involves a majority of diagnostic imaging, although some interventional experience can be incorporated on request. The Fellow will become experienced and competent in the interpretation and assessment of all forms of abdominal imaging (US, CEUS, intraoperative US, CT and MRI) including advanced techniques.

**To be Successful in this role you must have**:

- Medical Registration in Australia
- Passed the Part II exam of the RANZCR or equivalent
- Recognised by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) as a Clinical Radiology Trainee
- Demonstrates satisfactory phase progression through the RANZCR Training Program
