Chandler Macleod is currently seeking a trade qualified Boilermaker for a short term, temporary assignment at a steel manufacturing and processing, pre-fabrication, distribution, and fixed/mobile plant facility in Mayfield.

What's on offer?
- Monday - Friday roster (6am - 2:30pm) + overtime
- Hourly rate from $47
- No rainy day stand downs
- Potential for ongoing work
- Boilermaker / Fabrication trade qualification - essential
- Mig welding experience, oxy cutting experience - essential
- Previous experience working on plant and equipment within a similar heavy industry
- Forklift essential
- Ability to fabricate and weld to test standards

The successful applicant will be required to:

- Carry out planned maintenance, fabrication, and inspection tasks
- Have puncture of surface permits knowledge, attaching bollards and frames to concrete with the use of rotary hammer drill
- Identify opportunities for improvement and provide feedback via the maintenance management system
- Complete all tasks safely and to a high quality
- Support shutdown tasks requiring your input
- Ensure availability and reliability of a variety of machinery
