Our client is a large Government Department, requiring a Business Intelligence Lead to join their existing team for one of their current projects. Somone with a good understanding of the technical aspects of Business Intelligence that is happy to take on a more management based role is desired.

**Details**:
A Business Intelligence (BI) Lead is required to assist with the implementation phase of our Enterprise Data Management Strategy which is intended to:

- Develop & embed Enterprise Data Management Strategy in culture to enable data driven decision making in the organisation
- Develop an outcomes-based roadmap to implement the data strategy
- Provide leadership & advice in setting direction as well as priorities for the data analytics platform plus reporting capabilities in line with the approved enterprise data strategy
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architect & Data Architect to establish best practices for the Data Management & Reporting team
- Facilitate a collaborative approach & promote a positive environment to share information, encourage ideas & stimulate open discussion
- Embed a culture of security around data

Flexible work arrangements, however, time in the office is a must.

Requires someone with demonstrated strategic thinking and an ability to deliver results and align implementation of the strategy with strategic direction. Highly experienced in determining goals and prioritising complex tasks to achieve defined outcomes, the successful contractor must be also able to write succinctly and articulate technical issues. Must be able to use data, analyse problems and provide practical solutions with an outcomes-driven approach.

The BI Lead is required to lead an existing strategy, conduct facilitation, and talk with senior management/key stake holders, etc.
