Brisbane, Australia Office of Industrial Relations Full time

As the Licensing Officer you will work with limited supervision as part of the Licensing Operations and Compliance team in the Licensing and Regulatory Interventions directorate to assist with the management of operational aspects of work health and safety licensing services. You will provide assistance in the ongoing planning, review, evaluation, development and interpretation of policies, systems and processes, utilised to achieve high quality licensing outcomes. This role is also a first point of contact and is responsible for the provision of high quality, timely information to licensing stakeholders.
**Key capabilities for this role include**:

- Ability to lead and support staff in a team environment and provide direction to team members on complex licensing matters to meet unit goals
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as a member of a team with a high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Have well developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to build and maintain stakeholderrelationships, manage client expectations, negotiate outcomes, and resolve conflict in complex situations
- Demonstrate high level ability in the use of computer systems, software packages, and web-based technologies
