Warehouse Manager

**Surfacing Contractors Australia** is an Australian owned and operated company operating in the commercial landscaping sector. Our clients include Local, State and Federal Government, Private and Public schools, Landscape Builders and Tier 1, 2 & 3 builders.

**Position**: We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to run our warehouse to the best and safest possible standard, ensuring to maintain operational efficiency.
- Meticulous record keeping and reporting of all stock ins and outs on a daily basis
- Management and upkeep of company stocktake register on a daily basis
- Picking and packing allocated project stock in preparation for all upcoming works
- Loading and unloading work vehicles as required
- Making deliveries as required
- Maintain stock of everyday items for installations crews
- Maintaining tool and plant register
- Organizing and undertaking (wherever possible) maintenance and upkeep of tools and plant
- Maintain a well-organized and compliant warehouse at all times

**Skills and Experience**
- Forklift License
- Truck License (MR)
- Commitment and understanding of OH&S best practice initiatives
- Relevant commercial and practical experience
- Customer Service Focused across all channels: written, phone and face to face.
- Capable of communicating clearly and concisely**,**varying communication style depending upon the audience.
- Excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others.
- Teamwork - Willing to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
- Effective Time management and organisation skills
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft programs.
- Professional approach.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Confident manner.
- Positive approach to change.
- Potential overnight/multisite stays away from work may be necessary occassionally.
- Clean driving history required
- White card essential

Pay: $25.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Warehouse management: 1 year (preferred)
