**THE ROLE**

As a member of the Commercial Transactions Team, the Commercial Analyst will contribute to the development of commercial strategies and transaction management to support ES&O's commercial and investment decisions. They will be responsible for co-ordinating workstreams as the primary connection point for both internal and external stakeholders to deliver transaction outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to join a great team. Reporting to the Group Manager, Commercial Strategy & Transactions you’ll be responsible for:

- Be the primary contact point for coordinating large-scale transactions and projects to organise both internal and external resources and stakeholders
- Project manage and track progress on project deliverables for Origin's Gippsland offshore wind joint venture in order to meet objectives in the required timeframes and in accordance with the budget and strategic priorities
- Support the strategic development and analysis of new portfolio opportunities and the commercialisation of existing development assets to support the ES&O energy portfolio
- Prepare presentations and written materials to communicate key messages from financial and commercial analysis to deliver strategic understanding for portfolio opportunities
- Manage the approval processes for large scale commercial transactions across Joint Venture partners, Steering Committees, Results Delivery Office and seeking sign off where appropriate and facilitate the development of the approval framework to streamline the signing of JV contracts
- Contribute and provide commercial and market input into Origin’s government and regulatory policy decisions and positions where relevant

- Highly organised with ability to prioritise multiple tasks and distil complex issues to facilitate commercial decisions
- Ability to manage a large number of activities concurrently in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build/sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong written communication abilities (reports, briefs, presentations, proposals and external communications)
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment and under stressful situations to deliver to deadlines
- Highly analytical with superior problem solving skills
