As a Duty Manager, your Responsibilities and Duties include: - Managing the store operations in the absence of the Store Manager - Upholding excellence in customer service - Maintaining store merchandising standards and stock presentation - Developing and mentoring a young passionate team - Receiving, replenishing, and maintaining high standards of stock presentation in the store - Ensuring stock levels are adequate, rotated, and department presentation is well maintained - Ensuring security procedures are followed - Learning every aspect of running a store - Help develop, guide, and motivate a capable team of store staff of the highest quality and standard - Minimise costs by tightly controlling inventory losses, minimizing staff turnover and maximizing productivity Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate: - Grocery retail knowledge - Experience in leading and managing team members - Ordering and cost control expertise - Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands-on" approach - Unparalleled commitment to customer service - Excellent communication skills - Ability to liaise with both team members and management - A flair for merchandising - Strong leadership and delegation skills - Ability to coach, train, and performance manage team members - Commitment to work health and safety standards / Part-time Schedule: - Morning shifts - Evening shifts - Weekend shifts COVID-19 considerations: Residency Requirements **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent **Salary**: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Schedule: - Afternoon shift - Day shift - Evening shift - Morning shift - Night shift - Rotating roster COVID-19 considerations: Ability to commute/relocate: - Altona, VIC 3018: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (preferred) Work Location: One location
