Kindergarten Teacher

Set in an idyllic coastal environment with abundant indoor and outdoor spaces, the program at Balnarring ELC stimulates children’s cognitive and social development, while kindergarten and extended Bush Kinder programs inspire the senses and allows the children to explore their natural environment.

Outside in the large outdoor space, the children are free to play in the timber cubby house, water the veggie garden or play on the slide. Inside in the light filled rooms, open-ended play abounds and many enrichment programs are on offer including music and cooking.

We are seeking,
- **A qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT)**

To be successful in this role you must have:

- Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or equivalent
- VIT registered (provisional or full)
- Regulatory approved First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Child Protection training
- Red Nose and Food safety training (willingness to obtain)
- Employee Working With Children’s Check

You will need to demonstrate:

- Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills,
- Flexibility to work within the operational hours of an education and care service
- Highly developed Professional Standards
- Understanding of the Early Years Learning and Development Framework
- Understanding of the National Quality Standards (NQS)
- Passionate in achieving the high quality outcomes for children, families
- Experience with transition to school statements
- A strong focus on community
