**What You Will Be Doing**

The Peninsula Health Orthopaedic Unit currently consists of 19 surgeons and 10 registrars. The successful applicant will participate in elective and emergency surgery, outpatients clinics and case conference. The successful applicant will also act as a mentor for junior staff within the unit. The successful applicant will participate in unit audit, teaching sessions and MDT meetings.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Medical degree and specialist qualifications in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Current Medical Registration
- Knowledge of best practice in speciality field
- Demonstrated self-direction and initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Evidence of successful engagement in a multi-disciplinary health care team
