**The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Quality System Specialist to be part of our Amberley Quality team. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) Quality function and the growing MQ-28 Ghost Bat program.

**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate and drive a culture First Time Quality (FTQ) and continuous improvement across the program.
- Develop and support Quality Management System (QMS) projects and/or initiatives aligned to the Function's strategic plan and objectives to drive continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Present Quality project plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations both cross-functionally and to senior leaders across BDA.
- Input and influence decisions as they relate to Quality.
- Train and coach internal team members, as appropriate, to enhance employee performance and trust through expansion of skills and capabilities.
- Review and validate product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements.
- Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products, operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements, applicable company procedures, contract requirements, or government regulations.
- Guide or provides assistance in the root cause analysis of non-conformances. Verify the accuracy of analysis results by consulting with other authorities in the technical field.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- 5+ years' experience with Quality Management System (QMS), tertiary level engineering, aviation, quality management or equivalent qualification and/or commensurate level of professional knowledge and experience.
- Working knowledge of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR) Parts 145, 21J and a familiarity with Part 21G (or CASA/EASA equivalents).
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to proactively and independently resolve issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to effectively engage, communicate with and influence Senior and Executive level stakeholders.
- Ability to effectively prioritise and time manage in a high-pressure environment.
- Professional oral and written communication skills.
