**About the Agency**
The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) is the lead agency for the Government's policy on sport and active recreation. ORSR is responsible for State Government policy and legislation as it relates to the sector, its key programs, sport and recreation infrastructure and funding programs. The ORSR supports sport and recreation organisations, councils and the community through the development of policy, programs and resources, the provision of funding, recreation and sport planning, infrastructure development, elite sport pathways and programs, and the promotion of physical activity.

**About the Division - South Australian Sports Institute (SASI)**
The South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) is the High Performance Sports hub in South Australia. Its purpose is empowering people to achieve their sporting dreams and inspiring South Australians. SASI does this by:

- Providing the highest quality daily training environment, including embracing leading-edge technologies to optimise the performance of its people, programs, projects and partners.
- Optimising national representation and medal success on the world stage for South Australian-based athletes and teams.
- Pursuing excellence in practice, services and culture.
- Developing sustainable talent pathways for athletes and coaches.
- Enhancing the community's engagement with SASI.

- Key coaching role in South Australia’s premier high-performance sports institute

**Role Details**

**Special Conditions**
- The Incumbent will be required to participate in the Agency's Performance Management Program.
- The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
- Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
- Some intra and interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
- This role requires a working with children check.
- Nationally or internationally recognised coaching accreditation.
- 5 plus years' experience coaching at National/international level and a proven track record of coaching rowing athletes to podium performances at international benchmark events.
- A current SA driver's licence and willingness to drive is essential.
- A current boat licence is essential.

**Classification**
OPS6 - Operational Services Stream

**Salary Range**
$90,604 - $95,413 p.a

Position will also be paid a 5% Personal Flexibility Allowance which increases the total salary range to $95,134 - $100,184 p.a.
