You will play a crucial role in steering product strategy and merchandising operations to significantly contribute to business expansion. You will provide strategic leadership, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, manage a team, and stay well-informed on market trends and consumer insights.
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with trends, demands and company objectives.
- Drive end-to-end product strategy and assortment planning ensuring product pricing, inventory levels are sufficient to maximise sales and profitability.
- Lead and inspire a team
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and market research on sales performance and customer feedback.
- Collaborate cross functionally for the seamless execution of merchandising initiatives.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels to sustain vendor relationships.
- Negotiate with vendors to ensure timely and reliable delivery of products through cost effective sourcing and procurement practices.
- Improve standards through implementing compelling and consistent brand experiences across all channels to enhance customer engagement.

**To be successful, you will demonstrate/possess the following**:

- Advanced understanding of retail merchandising, product lifecycle and category management
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- Experience in General Merchandise
- Strategic thinker and ability to develop merchandising strategies aligned with business goals
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research and data analysis
- Results-driven and determined to achieve business objectives
