We are seeking a motivated **Imprest Officer** to join our Medirest team based at Queensland Children's Hospital. As a robust role, working as an integral member of a small dedicated team, this position is responsible for the management of clinical and non-clinical stock including ordering, decanting, and storage of goods in a safe manner as required for the successful completion of surgeries available. You will complete a critical analysis of risks and clear communication and relationship building skills to enable escalation and problem solving is required.

**Key duties**
- Work with a consumable management database, storage types and technologies
- Maintain storage and inventory locations
- Maintain PAR levels of stock
- Liaise with management and clients to order special items as required
- Prepare regular and ad hoc report

**The Person**

Ideally we would like you to have a can-do attitude, a drive to deliver great service outcomes and:

- the ability to work effectively as a member of a team and ability to work independently and unsupervised as required
- Experience with stock management
- Great communication skills with a high level of attention to details
- Physically fit and reliable
- Previous Imprest experience and knowledge of FAMMIS systems would be highly regarded as well as any stores environment or hospital and healthcare experience._
