**About the Role**: The Midwifery Unit Manager (MUM) is accountable at an advanced practice level for leading and coordinating the Maternity Inpatient Unit (MIU) and Healthy Hearing Program (HHP) to achieve best practice standards for clinical practice, patient centred care within a healthcare team and is responsible for the provision of effective and efficient human, material, and financial resource management. The HHP provides timely referrals to audiology for follow up and a locally accessible community outreach clinic. This integration of services helps in promoting holistic care for mothers and their babies and connects directly with the role's commitment to quality and efficiency.
