**About the Centre**

Brunswick City Baths is a state-of-the-art aquatic and fitness centre located in the heart of Brunswick. The centre offers a wide range of facilities, including a 50-meter heated outdoor pool, a 20-meter heated indoor pool, a waterplay pool, a gym, a group fitness room, a functional training room, a spa, a sauna, and a steam room. The centre offers a variety of programs and classes for people of all ages and abilities, including swimming lessons, water aerobics, yoga, and pilates.

**About the role**

As a Lifeguard at Brunswick City Baths, you’ll help provide a safe swimming environment for all centre visitors. You’ll be patient, focused and friendly to keep pool-users informed and safe. Duties of the role include:

- Supervising a large aquatic space while pro-actively ensuring a safe environment in and around the pool area
- Carrying out intervention and preventative action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patrons, the facility and equipment.

This is a permanent part-time position (9-18 hours per week based on availability) and the hourly rate is $25.80 + Super & Y Benefits.

- Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
