**Position Overview**:
**The Role**:

- Provide individual and group counselling to children, youth, and individuals with disabilities from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Offer flexible service delivery options, including sessions at clients’ homes, in-office appointments, or via telehealth.
- Develop and implement therapeutic strategies tailored to the needs of multicultural clients, including those with disabilities.
- Collaborate with other professionals and community organisations to support clients' well-being.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Participate in supervision sessions and ongoing professional development.
- Minimum 3 years experience in counselling children, youth, and families with disabilities, particularly within multicultural settings.
- Relevant qualifications in counselling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Must be registered with a recognised professional body
- Must hold current professional indemnity insurance (or be willing to obtain).
- Strong understanding of cultural competence, disability awareness, and sensitivity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently across all aspects of the therapy process
- Comfort and proficiency with telehealth platforms.
- Willing and able to use own fully-insured vehicle to attend preschool, school and home sessions.
- Ability to speak Arabic will be highly regarded.
- Experience conducting group sessions will be highly regarded.
- Experience working with children and families in other, non-clinical roles will also be considered.

**Hours Required**:

- Hours are flexible but we are currently requiring 1-2 days (all day) per week, although after-school hours must be included.
- An additional 1-2 evenings (after-school hours) as many of our clients require home sessions after-hours.
- Immediate start Required.

**Job Type**: Subcontract

Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
