Our mission is to provide high-quality grooming services in a calm, low-stress environment where pets feel safe and comfortable. We specialize in a relaxed one-on-one approach in one sector ensuring that dogs who prefer to an individual experience can do so stress free, and also have a main salon for confident, dog friendly pooches. We are looking for a compassionate and patient Dog Groomer to join our team and help us maintain our calm, pet-friendly salon atmosphere.

Founded by Casey, a dedicated dog groomer, certified dog trainer, and experienced veterinary nurse, our salon prioritizes the overall health and well-being of dogs.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform high-quality grooming services, including bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, with a focus on reducing stress for each pet.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of each pet during the grooming process, using gentle handling techniques and stress-reducing methods
- Maintain a quiet and relaxed grooming environment to minimize anxiety and reactivity for pets.
- Build trust with pets and their owners, addressing any concerns or special requests with care and professionalism.
- Keep the grooming area clean, organized, and safe for both pets and staff, following hygiene and safety protocols.
- Provide detailed aftercare advice to pet owners
- Work as part of a team to foster a supportive, kind, and calm atmosphere within the salon.
- Maintain accurate records of grooming services and any special needs or preferences for each pet.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Dog Groomer (minimum 2 years of experience performing full grooms unassisted preferred).
- Passion for animal care and well-being, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to handle dogs of all temperaments, sizes, and breeds with a calm and confident approach.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a peaceful environment.
- Previous training or certification in pet grooming (preferred but not required).
- Knowledge of dog behavior, anatomy, and health considerations.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques for stress-free grooming.
